… Everyone can benefit …

Preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, newborns, children, adults. EVERYONE can benefit from Dynamic Body Balancing and MyoFascial Release.

MyofasCIAL rELEASE/uNWINDING:

Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds the muscles, bones, nerves and organs of the body. There isn’t an organ, muscle, or blood vessel that isn’t connected to or surrounded by fascia. When our fascia gets twisted/bunched/tight/etc., it can cause major discomfort and restriction in our bodies. Releasing your fascia, through this gentle form of bodywork, can help you feel so much better.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

A description from the Upledger Institute: CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Dynamic Body Balancing = A beautiful Blend of Myofascial Release/Unwinding and Craniosacral Therapy

This work is not about doing anything to you; it is about listening to your body and feeling your tension and following your body’s signals on how to release and balance itself.

… Bodywork for Newborns …

All newborns can benefit from the skilled hands of bodywork practitioners, but often parents only think of it if they notice specific problems: difficulty with latching, an uncomfortable baby, a baby that always turns its head to one direction, a baby whose arms are often tight, etc. Baby’s can experience tension in their body from their position in utero, from accidents or injuries the sustained while in utero, from their birth position, and/or from their entrance into the world.
